Purpose and operator
Docker Apps Backups is a personal backup utility operated by Matthew Graham. It is intended to store encrypted backups of his self-hosted applications in his Google Drive.
Google account access
The requested Google Drive permission is drive.file. It permits access to files created by this app or explicitly selected for use with it, rather than unrestricted access to all existing Drive files. OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are used only to maintain the authorized backup connection and are not published on this website.
Data use and sharing
The utility is designed to upload encrypted backup data and read it back for verification and recovery. Google hosts the stored data under its own terms and privacy policy. Google account data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Backup contents are encrypted by Restic before upload; Google can still observe account activity, file sizes, and other service metadata.
Retention and control
The account owner controls retention and removal of backup data. No automatic deletion schedule has been established as part of this setup. Google authorization can be revoked through the account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking authorization does not itself delete existing backups.
This website
This static site has no login, forms, analytics scripts, or application cookies. Hosting and network providers may process ordinary connection metadata such as IP addresses and request times for delivery and security.
